INTELLIGENCE BRIEFING
Standing directly across the street from the Hemingway House, this lighthouse was built in 1848 (rebuilt after storm damage in 1858) to help guide ships safely past the dangerous reefs surrounding Key West. It remained operational until 1969 and is now a museum, with 88 steps leading to a viewing platform offering views across the island.
In Licence to Kill, an armed guard is posted here during the scene at the Hemingway House where Bond has his licence revoked.
